Donald Trump is not right — and you know it.

Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. That is a fact. Greenland’s future is for the Greenlandic people to decide, and they have already made it clear that they do not want to become part of the United States.

From World War II until 1992, the USA had between 27 and 36 different military bases and installations in Greenland.

If the USA believe Arctic security needs to be strengthened, they already have the right to establish or expand military facilities in Greenland under the 1951 Defense Agreement.

Greenland is also part of NATO through the Kingdom of Denmark. Any legitimate security concerns in the Arctic should be addressed through NATO and the existing defense agreements.

Greenland has never been threatened with a military takeover. The only person who has threatened such an action is the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

You are nothing more than Trump’s microphone holder. Stay out of Greenland and respect the official diplomatic channels.
