The hardest part about learning art fundamentals is to start.
When you get into it, you realize fast you already know more than you imagine on those subjects
i know i definitely feel like a teenager trapped in a 23 year olds body wondering when i will truly grow up and then actually coming to face with a real teenager and acts like a teenager and realizing i am a Lot more put together and mature than I thought I was
I feel for everyone in their early to mid 20's wondering when they'll feel like an adult, talking about the days going faster & faster, still feeling 18.
I'm truly sorry, but the pandemic gave you homeschooling trauma. All of that IS what being an adult feels like for you.
An unethical way to motivate yourself to finish your personal art is to pretend you're your own client, write a long google doc about how you've been ghosted & received no updates from yourself, & if you stop making progress on your art, you gotta post the doc.
i want more "unbecoming" on screen moments for female characters. Covered in blood and soot, blinded by rage, screaming, ugly crying, shrieking in anger, clothing torn, taking irrational impulsive actions, manic episodes, I want my women People.
