The Invisible Life of Addie Larue
this was v enjoyable to read. the story is so fantastical, yet it was still so grounded in reality. i am v rarely satisfied w endings, so i didn’t like the ending. BUT, it made me question tons about the human condition so 7/10
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
this was the first book to make me cry in a very long time. it forces u to look into a woman, who is neither good, nor bad, nor morally grey. Evelyn Hugo is a complex character who has lived her life on all ends of morality. she is deeply human-
-it was v vague about the Beldam n didn’t answer many questions about her or the cat. there are hints here n there, which is where one has to turn to theorizing, n filling in the gaps. to me that’s one of the great things about Coraline, is that the story never ends.

Coraline
this is my all time fav movie. n the book was great too! the book is blunt, and straight to the point, yet somehow still full of life. it added another layer of context to coraline’s character n it was fun to compare how the movie deviates from the book. but, like the-
-a bit boring. HOWEVER, it all culminates into the Final Act which becomes fast paced, and culminates into all the character development and setup from before. The Final Act also promises the next books will be worth the read. Overall, it was mostly enjoyable.
