When it was fashionable, celebrities took the knee.
When it was trending, they posted black squares.
When there was media praise to collect, and social approval on offer, they found their voices and attended Black Lives Matter protests.
They told the world where they stood. They spoke passionately about racism, injustice, equality, and doing the right thing.
Now Henry Nowak needs that same moral courage.
And yet, here we are, the silence is deafening.
The true test of principle is consistency.
If racism and injustice are wrong, then they're wrong regardless of who the victim is.
If equality really means equality, then it applies to everyone.
So where are the statements?
Where are the hashtags?
Where are the heartfelt Instagram posts?
Where is the outrage?
Because if those voices only appear when there's nothing to lose and everything to gain, people are entitled to ask a simple question:
Was it conviction?
Or was it virtue signalling?
Nothing exposes these celebrities and their performative activism quicker than the selective outrage.
The easiest thing in the world is to speak up when the crowd is cheering.
The hardest thing is to stand by your principles when the crowd isn't.
So let’s wait and see…..
Silence is an answer. And right now, it's a very revealing one.
Just got home. Got a London black cab from Holborn to Little Venice with a driver called Steven. Really bloody good laugh the whole way. Proper Londoner who grew up on the Bantry House Estate opposite what is now Wetherspoons in Stepney. I told him I know someone who grew up there. Was a proper laugh like you used to get in a black cab. Really enjoyed that. Cheers 🥂
The ire directed at 90s comedians for saturating the children's book market with slop is well deserved, but let's spare a little hate for the TV presenters who have flooded crime fiction with identikit, most-likely ghostwritten, "cosy" murder-mystery guff.
“Remember, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. If you treat a dog bad and show it no love, that's what they act like. If you show them kindness and hope, they're fine. It's the same with people.”
After Life
🔥🚨DEVELOPING: A mind blowing drone light show depicting Jesus on the Cross was spotted in the skies of Manvel, Texas by The Church on Master’s Road. Thousands of drones were used to create this spectacle.
This duo wrote this for Whitney Houston after "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody." Belinda Carlisle recorded it but passed, so they released it themselves. It became a hit in '88. Do you remember it or who sang it?
This peaked me more than any other single incident.
The man pictured, “Gabrielle” Darone, spent 9 months simulating a pregnancy, including feigned morning sickness and the wearing of a fake belly, with the intention of play-acting the loss of the imaginary baby. He also joined a support group for grieving mothers who had lost children, seeking validation and “support” for his planned “stillbirth.”
He even went so far as to rent a machine that simulated contractions, and bought a plastic “baby” which he inserted into his rectum and then “gave birth to.” Afterwards, he took two weeks off from work to “grieve.”
Women who objected to his presence in the group - women who had actually lost children - were kicked out so that this man could feel supported in his game of ‘let’s pretend.’ Their very real grief was considered less important than this man’s sexual fantasies.
To top it all off, he did all of this in the house he still shared with his unconsenting soon-to-be-ex-wife and their minor children. He even roped his 7 year old into taking “maternity pictures.”
Mr. Darone also convinced his doctors to provide him with drugs to induce lactation. He asked the members of an online breastfeeding group he’d joined if any of them would be willing to let him
“breastfeed” - that is, sexually assault - their babies, and attempted to donate the chemical-laced sludge he pumped out of his moobs to “other mothers.”
These men have proven over and over again that there is no aspect of women’s pain that they will not twist into a prop for their sickening deviancy, from rape to oppression to sexual objectification.
Even the loss of a child in the womb is fair game to them: a perverted, selfish, hyper-sexualized game of make-believe that must always take priority over the real pain and real needs of real women.
Call this out for what it is:
We have all witnessed the quite disturbing scenes of predominantly black school aged children behaving appallingly in Clapham yesterday.
There is a combination of factors as to why this took place and I am going to point them out without fear or favour.
1. Parents.
This is your failure. The children are an extension of you. You have abdicated responsibility & chose to be ‘friends’ with your children instead of being the architects of authority, discipline & boundary setting. Instead you are weak and your children know you are, thus diluting any respect that they would naturally have for you.
2. Schools.
When people like Katharine Birbalsingh & her elite teachers speak about standards, discipline and teaching children in a ‘no excuses environment’ many of you turn your noses up. However, do you really believe that children who attend her school ‘Michaela’ would behave this way in public? Neither do I. Schools and how they operate are a barometer of where this country will be in the near future. This alone should be ringing alarm bells but unfortunately it is not.
3. Parliament.
Those that are legislators in this country are way out of sync with what is required to churn out functioning useful youngsters in this society. With Labour MPs seeking to legalise voting for those aged 16+ I am only surprised that they were not in Clapham giving out flyers telling these youngsters that they are only robbing shops because of ‘white people and slavery’. Vote Labour!
4. Police
The police were totally useless yesterday. The police on the ground? No. Their bosses? Yes. Scotland Yard and Chief Superintendents are mostly now chosen for their senior roles based on politics, sexuality and wokeness. At least 100 youngsters should have been arrested, publicised widely, hurried through the system and severely punished. A clear message needed to be sent. It wasn’t. This is why it will now be a continual occurrence.
5. Social Media.
99% of these ‘link ups’ are organised via social media platforms. These companies must be subject to criminal injunctions when their platforms are used to promote chaos. Further, if found guilty then the penalties should include eye watering fines and three year imprisonment for their managing directors.
Lastly, the age to use Social Media should rise to 18 years.
Conclusion.
Many of the youngsters will claim they were ‘just having a laugh’. That may well be true. Families who were locked in the stores or staff working in those stores would surely disagree. That behaviour was disgusting and you parents should point that out. There is a time coming where some of these parents should be criminally liable for their actions of their bloody children.
We are blessed to be in a country like this despite its many faults. We also have many opportunities and are frittering them away. Do better and stop the damn excuses. Control your children.
I have never identified with a video more in my life. 😭 If you were the kid who always tried to save every stray and bring home every "lost" animal, you know exactly how Sebastian feels. Some hearts are just wired to love a little harder. ❤️🐕
All I’ve seen today is posts defending dogs and it’s beautiful to see ♥️ we’re meant to be a kingdom of animal lovers. That is Britain. That is us. Damn anyone including the propagandists BBC who hate who we are. Bless our dogs 🐶
