WATCH: Attorney General Barr declares that Donald Trump lost the Presidential election in 2020.
There is no doubt that the American people voted Trump out of office and the Select Committee has found no evidence of election fraud.
I disagree with @djrothkopf generally on Afghanistan policy, but he argues persuasively here that no one in the Bush, Obama, or Trump administrations has standing to criticize Biden’s withdrawal. They collectively undermined the war effort. https://t.co/sdAAhGgqXp

Stark refutation of Pompeo’s claim he kept Afghanistan stable: “None of this is true. Like many other Republicans who now profess anguish over the Taliban’s victory, Pompeo supported the US withdrawal…he didn’t just endorse the pullout; he directed it” https://t.co/RMBFnABy1X

2/29/20: There are 13,000 US troops there. Trump reaches deal with Taliban. Agrees Afghanistan Gov, which is not part of deal, will release 5,000 Taliban fighters. Requires Taliban...1
I'm no expert. But I find it strange that there was not even a little skirmish in taking Kabul. Maybe its not right to say that the Afghan army refused to fight. Maybe its more accurate to say that there was an agreement with the Taliban not to fight? Thoughts? further reading?
@donwinslow REMINDER:
Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo NEGOTIATED AND SIGNED an agreement WITH THE TALIBAN committing the US to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan by May 2021.
Trump had planned to host Taliban leaders at Camp David right before sep 11, 2020!
