Tenured. My grandparents were literally share croppers on one side, and on the other, my grandfather was denied promotion for decades because he was black. This is for them.

It does get old to call this out all the time. Raising awareness is only one part of the solution. I really want to change this. That's why I'm working with @womeninnephro to set up a speakers bureau for women in nephrology. No more excuses.
