Please stop circulating this. Deaf communities do not benefit from signing gloves (https://t.co/8NeqNRU0Zw), and the technology does not do what it claims to do. Despite the creators' good intentions, it's all just ableist as hell, centring signing deaf people as the problem.

@missundaaztood The interesting variation is for the 2 touch on side of face DEAF: is the first touch at the ear or at the mouth? Is this variation triggered by the signs preceding DEAF or the signs
@missundaaztood This sign was introduced (as I recall) in the late '60s or early '70s, so not such an old sign. For me it's a euphemism, and a way to describe deafness as only about hearing (not about speech).
