May you have the faith to cast your cares upon Jesus. May you truly believe that He cares deeply for you. May you have the grit to turn your back on worry and the holy growl to put fear under your feet. May you embrace the peace that God provides and walk in His lavish grace.
May God's opinion matter far more to you than man's opinion. May His dreams for you speak louder than your fears. May you refuse to read into situations that make you anxious. May you instead be proactive with your perspective. Guard your heart and renew your mind.
I believe we’re coming into a day where God will move despite denominational preferences. He will make Himself known in ways that convict, empower, overwhelm, and affirm who He is. He’ll make Himself known in ways we need to know Him so we can navigate the days ahead.
“Do not quench the Spirit.” -- The word “quench” in this verse means to extinguish, douse, suppress, or stifle. The study note in one of my Bibles reads, “Quenching may be either by an inadequate, chilled response, or an exaggerated, disruptive response.”
~1 Thess 5:19 (NKJV)
There’s so much more to God’s presence than our minds can comprehend. His promises are so much more potent than we can ever imagine. His character is unshakable, and His faithfulness is immovable. He means what He says and will do what He’s promised.
It's time to pray like you’ve never prayed before. Come boldly into God's presence because you can! Ask God to expose the enemy's schemes, foil wicked plans, and establish His purposes in our time. Do you believe He intends to move mountains in your day?
May God replace your painful memories with redemptive dreams; may He heal old wounds and pour in timeless wisdom; may He shore up your weaknesses and shine through your strengths. And tonight, may your sleep replenish you in every way. You're loved & blessed.
May the peace of God—right now—calm your anxious heart. May the presence of God—this very moment—bring peace to your troubled soul. When anxiety surges and emotions swell, may you discern the source and grab hold of the truth.
“It is the presence of God that changes us. It is the presence of God that empowers us. It is the presence of God that enables us to change the spiritual atmosphere over a family, a church, a town, a city, a region." 1/2
Every Christ follower goes through a season of reduction; a time when God “reduces” us, prunes us back, thins our lives, and reminds us once again that we are not what we do, we’re someone He loves. Remind your soul that God is with you here. He’s doing a deep work in you.
God has given you promises to hang onto & enough light for the road in front of you. You have what you need to stand in faith & embrace joy. Tell your soul that the devil will not stand in the way of God's promises. Remember this: he has no power to steal your purpose from you!
May God establish you in His highest and best purposes for you. May He point out your time wasters and life drainers, and may you have the grit to walk away from them. May His passion become your passion so that your life reflects His abundant life plan for you.
