Accurate voter rolls are critical to election integrity. That’s why Louisiana became the first state to use the newly revamped SAVE database in May. Preliminary results of an ongoing investigation into noncitizens on our state’s voter registration list show that 390 noncitizens were registered in Louisiana. Of those, 79 voted in at least one election.
Thanks to @realDonaldTrump, our state was able to make use of this free, easy-to-use data to help us further clean our voter rolls. I will keep using every tool at my disposal to ensure our voter rolls are accurate and that our elections remain safe and secure.

Thank you to State Senator Thomas Pressly for sponsoring our signature election integrity legislation this year. SB319, now Act 5 of the 2026 regular legislative session, strengthens our voter ID laws and provides clear guidance and consistency for voters and poll workers. Our strong state laws are a big reason we are ranked #4 in the nation for election integrity. https://t.co/8lSb0HxsWO

Behind the Student Union on LSU’s campus, there is a grove of oak trees —each one planted to honor a courageous student from the Ole War Skule who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of freedom during World War I. #MemorialDay 🇺🇸
Today we honor those who gave their lives for country. Thank you to all the gold star families whose husbands, wives, sons, or daughters made the ultimate sacrifice. We will always be in your debt, and we will never forget. "Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it." ~Unknown
Thank you to my two sons and my three step daughters for giving me so much joy in my life (when they were little ones, and continuing now as adults). Happy Mother’s Day to all.
The conversation about whether a woman should have kids is so focused on the bawling babies, it’s like we’ve forgotten they can grow up to be wonderful adults, writes Larissa Phillips. https://t.co/oBmK4TM97B
