@British_Airways Hi Lisa. An update for you. We’ve just reached our destination and one of our bags has been left in the UK! Hopefully we get it later today.

@British_Airways at your Gatwick check in desk trying to drop bags off for a very early morning flight tomorrow and all staff very unhelpful. Totally unacceptable to be told “you’ll be back early tomorrow morning anyway, so what’s the difference.”
Maybe efficiency !!!?

@British_Airways Thanks Lisa. This was what we were most upset about, we weren’t given a real reason. The other family that were trying to check theirs in had friends that had been successful a couple of hours before. We were there well before 10pm too.

@British_Airways Hi Lisa, thanks for coming back to me. Yes all passengers on the booking were there. There was also another family there with two young children. The manager on duty was called Patrick Cole, he was very patronising and unhelpful I’m afraid.

@British_Airways Unfortunately not. We got told to come back in the morning, even though we’re staying next door. Flight no. BA 8632.
The main issue we had was that if it was a no, we weren’t told that. Instead a manager came out to tell us that “we didn’t have the privilege to drop bags“.
