Welcome to the official X account of Dr. Nancy Young, candidate for Governor of CA. I’m here to share my vision for a stronger, more equitable CA. Vote Purple!
@Seraphinaf5 Corrected...9. The first statement is in present tense. I have. So regardless of you took 3 of them, broke them, fried them, and ate the same 3... you still have 9.
California needs a different kind of leadership.
Not leadership controlled by party politics. Not leadership that divides us into red and blue. Leadership that listens, serves, and puts people first.
I am Dr. Nancy Young, a No Party Preference candidate for Governor, and I am running because I believe California is ready for something different.
As a former Mayor, pastor, nonprofit leader, wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong servant of the community, I have spent my life bringing people together and fighting for real solutions.
This election is about more than politics. It is about our families, our communities, our future, and the hope we still have for California.
I am asking for your vote.
Vote Purple. Vote Nancy Young for Governor.
From business leaders and community builders to cultural icons and athletes, our movement is growing stronger every day. I am incredibly proud to have the backing of these phenomenal leaders who believe in our vision for California.
Building a better future requires bringing people together from all walks of life, and this coalition is proof that we are ready to lead with impact.

I’m incredibly honored to have the support of the Iranian American community in my campaign for Governor of California. Thank you for allowing me to hear your voices and stand with you in addressing the issues that matter most to our families and communities.
California’s future depends on unity, trust, and leadership that brings people together — not divides us. We have far more in common than what separates us, and together we can restore hope for our state.
A new day for California is ahead. Let’s build it together. Vote Nancy Young for Governor.

I am deeply honored and grateful to share that Tracy City Hall will be named in my honor.
This moment is bigger than me. It represents faith, family, service, community, and the generations who have poured into the city we love.
I would be truly honored to have you join me on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 333 Civic Center Plaza in Tracy as we come together to celebrate this historic milestone.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. I hope to see you there. 💜

I’m Dr. Nancy Young, an Independent candidate for Governor, and I believe the red and blue divide has left too many Californians behind. It’s time for a new kind of leadership focused on real solutions: affordability, safer neighborhoods, small businesses, and restoring trust in leadership.

I’m honored to connect with the Nigerian-American community and answer critical questions about the future of California. This conversation is personal to me. My grandmother on my father’s side was 100% Nigerian, and I deeply value the strength, faith, culture, and leadership this community continues to bring.
California needs proven, solution-oriented leadership that listens, shows up, and fights for everyday families, small businesses, safer communities, better schools, and real opportunity.

Generations fought to be heard. Now the Supreme Court is putting that progress at risk by weakening the Voting Rights Act.
California has to lead on voting rights, fair maps, and equal access to the ballot.
Every voice. Every community. Every time.
