LeBron James is willing to accept a minimum contract to play for a contender, per @ShamsCharania
He doesn't intend to make a "financially-driven decision"
No the league failed Kobe by hating on the cp3 trade. LeBron literally went from AD & Reaves to Luka & Reaves in his twilight. He was not failed by the Lakers.
LeBron’s time with the Lakers deserves an “A” grade, and there’s no debate.
2019: Missed playoffs
2020: Won NBA championship, Finals MVP
2021: Lost to Suns in 6 in 1st Round
2022: Missed playoffs
2023: Swept by Nuggets in 4 in WCF
2024: Lost to Nuggets in 5 in 1st Round
2025: Lost to Timberwolves in 5 in 1st Round
2026: Lost to Thunder in 4 games in 2nd Round
Although many Laker fans expected multiple titles, LeBron joined the Lakers at 34-years-old, and brought the team out of a six-year playoff drought.
Winning a title makes his tenure with LA an A- in my book. Some shortfalls, but reached the ultimate goal, as all legends do with the Lakers.
@Zoldyck_Silva1 For a pay cut, yes. But he wasn’t doing that. With the cap space we have now, it’s on Rob to make a good team. I’m intrigued to see how he does
What a run The King had in L.A. 👏
