Thank you @Baddiel for the brilliant Birthday Boy, which has been a cornerstone of my weekly assemblies this term. Football may not be coming home but at least Sam and his family are!
We might live in a time where sometimes it’s easier to be negative than positive, or to divide than to unite, but England: let’s keep this unity alive. I love you.
Reflecting on today’s wonderful ceremony and feeling very lucky. Wonderful pupil performances and deserved prize winners. And I’m overwhelmed at the generosity of our school community. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
We recently hosted a work experience placement from a former pupil, who brought in one of her old class photographs. Recognise anyone, Miss Partington?!
Thank you @KerryLHowes for a great evening at the Clock House Prize Giving ceremony.

Fantastic week so far as we continue to bring the seaside to school. Pirate Catherine entertained and informed the children today with her pirate-themed history workshops, while an ice cream van paid a visit at break to give the children (and staff) an unexpected treat🍦☀️
The letter was written on behalf of The Queen! It was to thank @misscripps_nr and Cartwright for their lovely letters of congratulations following the birth of Prince Louis. Fantastic to see excellent work being acknowledged from the top! (NB: this does not refer to Mr McIntosh) https://t.co/nryCDv3uNl
Well done Miss Partington! Amazing achievement to complete the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere during the half term holiday. A great sporting role model for our girls and boys.
Meeting @peterramage83 was an unexpected bonus today! Here is a photo of the central defensive pairing that Sir Bobby Robson dreamed of having at #nufc...! https://t.co/tYd2PdvnWe
