Not only clinicians working in countries with low laboratory infrastructure, that need to screen large populations quickly, but also people affected with diseases that demand rapid action can benefit from the fast, decentralized diagnostic platform developed by Nano4 Global.
NANO4 platform can adapted to a range of applications where specific DNA or RNA sequence is critical. Currently we are working on the detection of leukaemia. Know more on what we do here https://t.co/eSGsQMin1c
Nano4 Global is working on the clinical validation of the technology's diagnosis for TB. But our pipeline includes other conditions, such as Zika and Leukaemia.

Looking back at 2019, one thing is certain – What a year!
Nano4 became closer to its goal, to launch innovative nanotechnology based molecular diagnostic.
Check our major achievements: https://t.co/JpcONqgSmx
In november, Nano4 was recognized as NOVA SPIN-OFF , awarded to companies created within the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of the NOVA University of Lisbon.
Nano4 was present at the European Molecular Diagnostic Congress. But there were other events we didn't miss last year, like the Science and Technology Summit in Portugal. Pedro Viana Batista, Nano4 CEO, participated in the panel of European Funding Programs.
2019 was the year that Nano4 concluded the industrial scale-up process of Nano4TB, its test for the detection of the bacterium that causes tuberculosis.
In the second quarter of 2019 Nano4 reached a key milestone, becoming an ISO 9001 and 13485 fully certified company for the production of molecular diagnostics.
Considered one of the “Top 15 companies you should know in Portugal” by Labiotech, Nano4 continued to work in 2019 on its platform, that puts forward the next generation of molecular nanodiagnostics.

In the first quarter of 2019, Nano4’s team reached 6 members divided by production, quality control and R&D and was able to conclude a follow-on finance round.
The review of 2019 confirms that last year was an important one for Nano4, holding the promise of an even better 2020. We started with an industrial facility opening in Sintra, Portugal, followed by the set up of the R&D lab.
