Grief returns over and over again. Today marks 500 days since the beginning of the war in Sudan - I didn't know that last night, when I found myself crying looking at old images of the country.
This family is currently in Omdurman, desperate to flee but haven’t been able to raise anything.
They need at least 5k ASAP - please help ❤️

Demand @AAPD cut ties with Northrup Grumman and Wells Fargo!

Northrop Grumman, a sponsor on the National Leadership Sponsor, has been featured on the AAPD website as recently as this year. This sponsorship at this level includes tickets to this year’s ADA celebration and logo inclusion. We object to their presence in disability rights.
On Thursday July 25, 2024, AAPD is hosting their 2024 AAPD ADA Celebration where Wells Fargo is a presenting sponsor. We cannot let these companies have a platform in disability rights spaces as they debilitate the world.
Northrop Grumman supplies the Israeli military with a wide variety of weapons, including various missile systems. The company's technologies are also integrated into Israel's main weapon systems, including its fighter jets, missile ships, and trainer aircraft.
Wells Fargo supports Israel and gave a 500 million dollar loan to Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest military company, produces a large range of arms and military and surveillance technology.
They've accepted funds from BDS targets to further fund their already multi-million dollar organization.
Notably, AAPD works closely with Wells Fargo, which invests in Elbit Systems, an Israeli weapons manufacturer; and Northrup Grumman, the 4th largest weapons manufacturers
Despite being a national disability-led and cross-disability rights organization, AAPD betrays the disability community and accepts sponsorships from weapons manufacturers and corporations that are actively disabling BIPC in the U.S. and globally, especially in Palestine.
Why are they all so cute 😭 these children deserve to be playing in their schools, their neighborhoods, their homes.

exposing our migrant communities to the horrors of raids, incarceration, and deportation. This partnership is a direct threat to the safety and well-being of our entire community. It must end immediately. Take action now!
Despite adopting the “Trust” policy meant to limit collaboration with ICE, they included section 7: an exception for the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD). This exception allows the ACPD to continue working with ICE,
By maintaining collaboration with ICE, an agency notorious for profiting from the pain, separation, and harm of our migrant communities, Arlington fails to protect all its residents.
The Arlington Board members’ decision to maintain this partnership places families in jeopardy.
