SUNOO ON NI-KI 🦊🐥
1. Please tell us about Ni-Ki’s daily routine. Is there anything in it that you want to learn from?
🦊 Ni-Ki actually lives a much more structured life than I expected. He has a very consistent routine when it comes to exercising and practicing. He moves exactly according to the schedule he sets for himself and even adjusts his rest times on his own. It’s really amazing to see someone at his age manage himself that well. There’s a lot to learn from him.
2. What’s the most impressive item in Ni-Ki’s room?
🦊 His audio equipment. He has these really big, high-quality speakers, and when he plays music through them, the sound is incredible. I’m also interested in sound, so seeing those made me want to have speakers like that too.
3. Do you remember your first impression of Ni-Ki? How do you think he’s changed since then?
🦊 Back during I-LAND, he was such a cute and pure kid. He was a bit shy, too. But now… he’s really grown, both mentally and physically. He’s become more reliable, and the way he speaks is clearer and more mature. Now, I see him as a truly wonderful artist and teammate who builds the stage together with us.
4. What kind of presence is Ni-Ki to you, Sunoo? If you could describe him in one word, what would it be?
🦊 “A kid I just can’t help but want to take care of” (laughs). Ni-Ki can handle things well on his own, but somehow, I just end up wanting to look after him. Even though he doesn’t talk a lot, his emotions often show through his expressions and actions. To me, he still looks like the youngest, but at the same time, he’s also a very reliable little brother.
5. Outside of the stage, when do you feel that Ni-Ki is truly an artist?
🦊 Sometimes he draws by himself, and the atmosphere around him feels different then. When he’s sitting quietly and deeply focused on something, he really looks like an artist. It’s the same when he’s dancing, when he’s in the practice room, listening to music alone and moving his body, he gives off a completely different vibe from the stage. Whenever I see him like that, I can’t help but be impressed.
6. What’s the most impressive moment you’ve seen of Ni-Ki on stage?
🦊 It was during the year-end award show when Ni-Ki performed the dance break. Even during practice, I thought he was amazing, but the actual performance went beyond that. Especially when he stood alone on stage, it felt like he filled the entire space with his own energy.
