I am deeply honoured to receive the *Transformational Leadership in Public Service* *Award* conferred upon me by the Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards (APSCA). Although I was unable to attend the ceremony in Botswana on 3rd and 4th October 2024, I am truly grateful to APSCA for facilitating the conferment of this prestigious award here in Nairobi yesterday.

This recognition is not mine alone, but a reflection of the collective efforts of all Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and the entire body of public servant's especially public entities and institutions acknowledged by the ASPCA for their work in advancing national electronic identity schemes. I remain committed to driving innovation and progress in Public Service, fostering a more connected and inclusive Kenya, and by extension, Africa.

I appreciate the presence of the following people at the event at the Bomas of Kenya last night; The convenor of the ASPCA Awards Mr. Akin Naphtal, Secretary to Cabinet @SectoCabinet_KE, Solicitor General @shadrack_mose , Principal Secretaries, Inspector General of the National Police Service @DouglasKanja, Chief Registrar of the Judiciary @ Winrida Mokaya, Controller of Budget @ Margaret Nyakango, Chairs and CEOs of State Corporations and Institutions, and civil servants.
