@ibzzforyou Initially, their whole wholesomeness thing was endearing. Did away the toxicity of previous teams.
But now, with their mediocrity and failure after failure, the whole shtick comes across as just phoney and painful to watch
Richly deserved, I think.
This is probably the meekest and timidest generation to have ever played cricket for Pakistan.
Even the fixers, crooks and cheats of the 90s had so much spine and jigraa.
@BlastPmln The onus is always on the set batsman to take calculated risks. Like Liton did in the first innings that set up the game.
Rizwan played a great hand, but he mishandled the chase on the 5th day. The ball he got out to was just him playing "safe" for a 100.
Rizwan was playing for his 100. Just dropped anchor after 80 to get to 100. Took no chances.
Allowed Sajid to take more chances than he should have.
Hate to say this: but Liton Das was not wrong.
This is why all roads are supposed to have a "right of way" (vacant patches next to the asphalt) by law for moments like these.
These spaces are unfortunately encroached like in this case.
Bulldozing them makes for bad optics for "mazdoor dushman zillai e intizaamia"
Key things from Trump's latest message declaring that he won't restart the war with Iran:
1. Says he was asked by the leaders of Qatar, KSA, and UAE. Could be true, but either way, provides him with a face-saving exit from his previous threats.
2. Says serious negotiations are now taking place. They have been taking place all weekend, but a small breakthrough may have been achieved.
3. Emphasizes only "no nuclear weapons" as criterion for his deal. No mention of enrichment or stockpile. May prove crucial.
4. Overall, tries to give the impression that he is in control and that only he dictates the direction of the situation. None of that is entirely true, but understandable that he wants to give that impression.
Conclusion: Once again, Trump has realized that escalation will end up badly for the US. That does not necessarily mean, though, that the necessary realism, discipline, and creativity will be mustered for the talks.
At this point, our guy is groveling for a deal.
Iran has the opportunity to get itself an acceptable deal.
Everyone has had enough. Economic pain is being inflicted on millions by this conflict (common people who have had nothing to do with it).
Raza Mohsin needed motor testing equipment for the @VLEKTRA factory. China was too expensive. A local engineer took an advance and delivered something that never worked.
Then someone walked in with a different offer.
No degree. No English. No CV. His only credential was 15 years of working alongside his electrician father.
What happened next is the best argument I've heard for where Pakistan's real talent actually lives.
🚨 BREAKING: The Prime Minister’s Office confirms that, in the midst of Operation Roaring Lion, Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret trip to the UAE, where he met with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The covert visit reportedly led to a historic breakthrough in Israel–UAE relations.
@blackhut162041 What good does bombing Afg to pulp do if security forces are unable to clean Bannu division?
Despite the bombing across Durands, militants have held their ground this side of Durand and picked their targets ... From Wanna to Fatah Khel.
15 Shuhada in Bannu.
One in a long series of deadly attacks that have gone on for months now.
At this point, it's tedious to just blame IEA.
No denying that TTA and TTP are two faces of the same evil.
But the question is: why, after almost 2 decades of operations are...
...and easy option is to blame the IEA.
No love lost for the bearded f"ckers in Kabul, but when will there ever be an honest reappraisal of those that have managed not just the AfPak strategy but also those that have managed these neverending operations.
Where are the results?
...terrorists still roaming in the larger Bannu/Waziristan regions?
Shouldn't there be a performance audit and accountability of the intel and security apparatuses?
Earlier you could just as easily blame the Karzais, the Ashraf Ghanis and the western forces.
Now the lazy.
U.S. and Iranian officials are reportedly close to a brief 14-point agreement aimed at ending the current conflict and restarting nuclear negotiations.
The proposed deal would pause Iran’s uranium enrichment for at least 12 years, ease U.S. sanctions, release frozen Iranian funds, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
The framework would begin with a 30-day negotiation period, likely in Geneva or Islamabad, while both sides gradually roll back military and shipping restrictions. Iran would also accept tougher UN inspections and pledge not to pursue nuclear weapons.
No final agreement has been reached.

This is a good sign. End the war, declare victory & bring our troops home. Avoid getting sucked into another foolish war.
The only people who will criticize President Trump for ending the war are the neocons & Israelis who got us into this mess in the 1st place.
Federal Minister for Energy (Petroleum Division) @AliPervaiz450 joins me on the show and explains on map plans for Pakistan’s oil supply options. Very interesting indeed! :)
