5 months gone. 7 remaining.
That's either terrifying or motivating depending on the day.
Either way, Happy New Month from the NAPSAM team.
Let's make this one count. 🚀
#NewMonth#June2026#NAPSAM#Physiology
If uni never tested you, the weeks of #graduation posts won’t make sense.
But if you know all-nighters, failed tests, financial stress, and empty plates…
You know we’re not just celebrating degrees. We’re celebrating that we didn't break.
"Crossing to where"
"Physiology is a long term goal"
"I am here to dominate"
Read that again.
This is what it sounds like when you stop apologizing for your degree. 💯
@napsam_project Crossing to where
If I wanted medicine, I would have crossed in my 200level and not after spending 4 years and thrashing out neuro Physiology
Physiology is a long term goal
I am here to dominate by any which way 😩😩
@SundayR17530 THRASHING OUT NEURO PHYSIOLOGY 🔥🔥
This is the energy!!!
You didn’t spend 4 years for nothing!!
You’re here to dominate PERIOD!!
More people need to hear this.
"So when are you crossing?"
That question tells Medical Science students 4 years of studying life = prep work.
Should one study Medicine because someone clowned Anatomy? Or for genuine interest and passion?
What's the wildest thing said about your course? 👇
When I was studying anatomy, people would ask me "Where do you people work after graduation? For inside mortuary abi?"
That question alone increased my ginger to pursue medicine.
@IzunnaGp This!!! The disrespect is why so many brilliant minds feel forced to "escape" their field.
We need to normalize excellence inside Physiology, Anatomy, Biochem too. The "waiting room" era has to end.
Every year, thousands of bright Nigerian students are lured into studying Physiology with promises of “unlocking the secrets of the human body” and becoming the next big thing in healthcare. Fast-forward four years:
In Nigeria, telling someone you studied Physiology often prompts the question: "So, when are you crossing to Medicine?"
We’ve treated one of the most fundamental life sciences as a "waiting room."
The script needs to be finally challenged!!!
A small cut shouldn’t be a big deal…
But for someone with Hemophilia, it can be.
In Physiology, we learn that stopping bleeding is a process—
Platelets + clotting factors working in sync.
Now imagine missing one key factor.
That’s all it takes to disrupt everything.
And it’s not just visible bleeding—
Internal bleeding (especially in joints) can quietly cause damage over time.
In places like Nigeria, many cases are still undiagnosed.
Awareness isn’t optional—it’s necessary.
Physiology helps us understand it.
Awareness helps us change it.
Today is World Parkinson’s Day (April 11) — a day to raise awareness about this progressive neurological condition.
Parkinson’s disease affects the brain’s physiology in a profound way. In a healthy brain, specialized neurons in the substantia nigra produce dopamine

If you or someone you know is living with Parkinson’s, you’re not alone. Knowledge about the underlying physiology helps us understand why treatments (like levodopa) work and why we’re pushing for better therapies.
