“She was my best friend. And then you chose to kill the only mother I ever had.”
Those powerful words from Caleb Flynn’s daughter, Ava, hang over the courtroom as her letter to her father is read aloud just before his sentencing to life in prison.
She describes her mother as having “the voice of an angel,” confronts her father over his affair and asks the question at the heart of her grief: “What did she ever do to make you hate her so much?”
Then, despite everything, she offers him a path toward forgiveness through God.
"There's a choice for everything in life. All you have to do is tell God that you're sorry and that you want to confess and repent to him. I promise you won't take away your punishment, but you will have a life in heaven someday."
@theblockspot No, they have a quarterback, who if he stays healthy has the potential to be a franchise quarterback. He had one good game this season the only one he’s played. Give me a break.
@RealPaulCortese I hate every one of these type posts because I know my best girls’ time is coming…again. However, thank you for letting me see your “good boy”…
God bless…..
@SimplyKatie___ Coffee and sit in my chair on the patio and throw a ball to my dog until she decides to sit down in front of me and stare at me telling me it’s time for breakfast…. Every day.
@Jsongonline It’s such an awful business deal that apparently nobody wants to get in on it? Nobody forces anybody to do this and yet they’re opening new ones at every turn.
@greta Just went on Medicare turning 65. Before 2010, I could ensure my family of five with a $500 deductible for around $875 a month. After 2010, it was $2250 a month with a $7500 deductible. As my children came off of it, it went up to around $2500 a month for just two.
