@lzsthw Fair. You can teach techniques and show real cases, but there's some elusive component, creativity or hunter instinct to it that only comes from practice.
@lzsthw In essence it's a divide and conquer task. Most difficult bugs are the ones that resist isolation. If two modules work well independently and crash when connected, we have a nasty one.
@lzsthw IME, that would be harder. Debugging by its very nature involves going back on your steps. This should work, but doesn't, why? You're making hypothesis that, unless the bug is trivial, grow more ... "absurd", until you question more and more of your assumptions.
Survey time:
"Nobody can actually teach debugging. It's something that you only learn by fixing tons of bugs."
Do you agree with this? Feel free to explain why.
It's really crazy how strongly wealth inverse correlates with regulatory burden
If you make it easy for people to start and run businesses and don't get in their way too much, everyone gets wealthier
If you make it hard for people to start and run businesses and get in their way constantly, everyone gets poorer
You can see the effect clearly within the EU:
Countries with low regulatory burden like Switzerland and Ireland have much higher incomes than places like Spain or Hungary where its regulatory burden is high
