Request to Increase Instant Withdrawal Limit from ₹2 Lakh to ₹5 Lakh.
Dear Zerodha Team,
I maintain a Trading and Demat Account with Zerodha.
At present, the Instant Withdrawal facility has a daily limit of ₹2 lakh. I actively participate not only in the secondary market but also in both SME and Mainboard IPOs.
In the case of SME IPOs, the minimum investment is generally around ₹2.20 lakh to ₹2.80 lakh. If an SME IPO lists with a gain of 10 – 20% , the value of the investment can increase to approximately ₹3 lakh or more.
As a small investor, I need to rotate my capital efficiently between different investment opportunities.
However, when I sell an IPO holding through Zerodha, I am currently able to withdraw only up to ₹2 lakh through Instant Withdrawal on the following day.
Because of this limitation, I am sometimes unable to utilise the funds for an IPO that is closing on the same day, resulting in missed investment opportunities.
Therefore, I kindly request Zerodha to consider increasing the Instant Withdrawal limit from the existing ₹2 lakh per day to at least ₹5 lakh per day.
A higher withdrawal limit would be particularly beneficial for small investors who need to rotate their capital between IPOs and the secondary market. It would provide greater flexibility while managing funds without requiring investors to maintain a large idle cash balance.
I request you to kindly consider this suggestion and, if possible, introduce a higher Instant Withdrawal limit for eligible customers.
Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Ashish garg

Another day. Another banker’s life lost. 💔https://t.co/yTCoTg7Rpw
Reports today say that an @MyIndianBank Chief Manager allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of the Bank’s Head Office building.
And the painful question remains:
How many more bankers have to die before someone seriously asks WHY?
Just days ago, 27 September 2026 was a Black Sunday for the banking fraternity. Two #UnionBank employees reportedly lost their lives in separate road accidents connected with Sunday duty.
Yet where is the outrage?
Where is the national discussion?
Where is the accountability for employee safety and mental well-being?
“Bankers मरें तो मरें, किसी को क्या फर्क पड़ता है?”
We need a serious conversation on work pressure, employee safety, humane working hours and #5DaysBanking.
One banker lost is one family shattered.

One suicide from IT sector was discussed in India.
One IITian committed suicide is still in news.
But more than 500 bankers committed suicide and yet we are nowhere in discussion.
Bankers Indian nahi h? Insaan nahi hai? Kisi ke bete beti nahi hai? Kisi ke pati nahi h?

There are essential medicines for cancer for which MRP is ₹27000 and PTR (price to retailer) is ₹2700. That’s absolute rampage and carnage and broad day light dacoity with the patients. How can a patient be cheated for a medicine which the manufacturer sells to the retailer at ₹2700 and MRP is printed at ₹27000? It is surprising that the authorities who are supposed to take a decision on this are absolutely silent. We need not spell out the reasons for that: Supreme Court
Bankers keep India connected 24×7.
But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.
A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.
The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.
Implement 5-Day Banking now.

Thankyou @DFS_India@FinMinIndia for providing excellent environment for bankers.
One banker committed suicide and another one left the job.
Well done Unions as well for never fighting against suicides or attrition.
