In the Joint Lenders’ Forum meeting dated 8 March 2017, chaired by the then MD & CEO, it was recorded that out of the net sales value of approximately ₹16,325 crore generated from Wish Town, around ₹3,862 crore collected from homebuyers was utilised towards the construction of the YEW. This clearly shows that homebuyers’ funds were diverted towards the expressway while around 15,000 homes still remain incomplete. Despite this, the concessionaire is now seeking enhancement of toll charges citing the Concessionaire Agreement. Authorities must take into account the grave injustice suffered by homebuyers before considering any toll revision.
Sir, did the concessionaire pay to YEIDA as per the NCLAT order?
