have you ever read something so beautifully written that you lowkey get jealous of the author's writing skills? it's like you wish you had a way with words just like them.
This chapter I'm typing is kicking my ass. It's quite long (for me) bc I'm hoping after this one, I only have the one chapter left. I'm essentially cramming as much in as I can, which feels sucky but writing takes up so much of my time. I love doing it, it just feels pointless :(
I have typed a one-shot fic but the apprehension of publishing it is crippling. Most things I publish end up being deleted after a day or two when I suddenly decide that I hate it 🤡
NON-FICS writers will never understand the mental illness of writing an entire conversation in your head while doing dishes and then forgetting every word the second you open a blank doc
Fun fact 4: Authors are allowed to be disappointed with lack of engagement. "Write for yourself" only goes so far. The point of posting stories is to share with others. If no one interacts, it doesn't feel like it's being shared.
