🇮🇳 Celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day at the University of Hyderabad 🇮🇳

The National Flag was proudly hoisted this morning at the Prof. Gurbaksh Singh Maidan, University of Hyderabad, by Prof. J. Anuradha, Vice-Chancellor (In-charge), as the University community came together to celebrate the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride. 🇮🇳

This year’s Independence Day celebrations carry special significance as the nation also commemorates 150 Years of “Vande Mataram”, our National Song — words that inspired generations during India’s freedom struggle and continue to evoke a profound sense of devotion to the motherland. 🙏🇮🇳

As we honour the sacrifices and aspirations that shaped independent India, the occasion is also a reminder of the important role of our universities and our youth in shaping the India of tomorrow through knowledge, research, innovation and education, towards the national vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047. 🎓🔬📚

May the Tiranga always inspire us to uphold the values of freedom, unity, democracy and service to the nation.
