The police later that night inflicted chemical weapons & stun grenades on hundreds of protesters who didn’t do anything, didn’t drive a car into a group of ppl, definitely didn’t shoot anyone.

They are proving over & over again that they should not exist.

The people formed a human chain to protect him as they walked him to the medic tent then the ambulance.

The people pushed the car to the end of the street so it could be towed away from the protests.

We have to talk about what happened at the East Precinct today. Not just because a handful of heroes selflessly put themselves in danger to protect their community, but because it is perfectly illustrative why SPD is as dangerous as it is unnecessary.

The people put cones around & protected the bullet casing so it could be collected as evidence.

The people were the medics, the first responders.

The police did nothing. They didn’t even flinch when this asshole who had just shot someone walked towards them with a gun.
