@sainsburys anyone else heard a two-second snip of Millie Riperton's "Les Fleurs" on your potato ad? Top album, "Come to my Garden."

@London_W4 Another 'istoric version, knitted by women in Shropshire, is in Reading Museum in Berkshire. The knitted tapestry is shorter in length and does not include the (nude nor other) figures in the header and footer.
@BobbiBicker Instruction for life, in Hebrew, Latin & Greek. Idea started in 1996 by the inscription, "Fiat Lux", over the church entrance in Ullet Rd, Liverpool where I wed. The tattoos (calf, back & bicep) are from 'Tatau' in Chandlers Ford at the end of the COVID pandemic.
@SW_Help Left Waterloo around 2045. Waterloo board listed stops en route to Poole. Train LED board on coach 6 says 'Poole only'. Neither London- nor Winchester-bound journeys warned passengers of ~1h diversion via Virginia Water etc
@SW_Help Observed sign on moving LED panel stating that my train (currently winding through Isleworth due to mainline rail work I guess) will only stop at Poole. Farnham? Fleet? Southampton? _Forgotten._
@antara_shanti@ConstableChaos@billykayscot 1. Replace bag (are you using them?) 2. Remove and separate hose and nozzles, soak in hot water, detergent and scrub clean. 3. Use Henry for dry dirt, mop/sponge n bucket for spillages.
@ConstableChaos@billykayscot Hetty! Was ยฃ15 cheaper than Henry 'cos... company discovered that was the price point that sales matched Henry. Hetty is yellow, not red like Henry.
@bbcbreakfast My first job was as a Saturday supermarket worker at Budgens in Ealing. Low point: tipping whole crate of egg boxes on to floor of the main entrance. High point: buying my own ticket to see Bowie at Wembley.
@Birdwisenk I live in a southern English county too. Most mornings I hear a bird song matching the football chant, 'Come on England, Come on England.' Please, what species is it?
