Russian oil has been sanctioned by the west for years. China and India have been soaking it up.

What actually happened? The Strait of Hormuz is responsible for 40% of the EU's diesel supply. That supply was MAJORLY effected for MONTHS!

Just because Trump makes an announcement doesn't mean prices will drop. Nor does blaming Ukraine. Nor does early release of winterized fuel (which Trump did in Aug).

Our SPR is drained, we can't release anymore, that's the problem.
