Article: "Hyunjin (Stray Kids) and Dior’s New Aesthetic Direction"
"Appearing at the Dior Spring/Summer 2027 show, Hyunjin (Stray Kids) continued to demonstrate his compatibility with the house’s new aesthetic language.
(...) His combination of a blouson, shirt, and tailored trousers also partly reflected the spirit Jonathan Anderson pursues in this menswear collection: familiar wardrobe codes placed side by side in a less conventional way. Instead of maintaining a clear boundary between casual and formal wear, the layers were relaxed and re-combined to create a more fluid silhouette—retaining Dior’s elegant foundation while adding a sense of ease, comfort, and naturalness in how the clothes are worn. To complete the look, Hyunjin opted for a slicked-back hairstyle with a subtle wet effect, exposing most of his face while leaving a few natural strands in front. This styling helped the appearance feel less rigid while matching the spirit of the outfit.
Overall, Hyunjin’s choices at Dior Spring/Summer 2027 showed a fairly clear approach to Jonathan Anderson’s new menswear language. Rather than relying on striking colors or heavy accessory layering, he allowed the silhouette, proportions, and pairing of everyday pieces with formal wear to create the focal point.
(...) With each appearance, the connection between the singer and the fashion house grows clearer—not only in the front row, but also in how he approaches and interprets Dior’s design language through his own style."
