It's rare someone understands the source material regarding Tohru. It's also missed that she's self sacrificing, meaning she puts others before her own needs. Also, several members in the cast (Kisa, Hiro, Rin, etc) take time to warm up to her. She's not automatically liked.

thinking about my childhood and how utterly obsessed I was over pretear. I genuinely miss this story and the impact it had on me was crazy!! I will forever adore himeno's character and the story she lead. I suggest this heavily if you enjoy fairy tale inspired stories!
