In mid-August, HoM conducted a COVID-19 awareness campaign. The team purchased, packed and distributed 240 aid boxes filled with food and sanitizers to poor families across Mosul city centre
Bashar, a blacksmith who has been working in Mosul since he was sixteen. Bashar has not sold any swings since March as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. HoM initiated a call-to-action campaign. Where he received an offer by a private company to sponsor him for 100,000 USD.

UNDP is currently rehabilitating 15,000 homes across west #Mosul, including in the Old City. This rehabilitated house in the Al-Islah Al-Zeraee neighbourhood of west Mosul has allowed a family of 17 people to move home.
