A4 For me specifically it’s a little tougher to use technology because of the P.E. setting and I want my students to move, but I would like to focus on instructional delivery and find new ways to present my content using technology. #OneToOneLearning
A5: My strength is classroom management. With Kindergarten I find that the more I am clear on what I expect, my students perform better. Going back to the fly on the wall, you'd hear this none stop in my room ⬇️
Kindergartener: "You aren't following Ms. Payne's expectations."
A4: I would like to improve on using 1:1 as a way to differentiate for my learners. Meeting all the needs in my classroom is something I do daily, however when using our technology I don't always differentiate. Instead I typically provide choices. #OneToOneLearning
A3: The biggest opportunities are being able to differentiate resources and scaffold so much easier. I always level my texts and utilize digital tools to meet student accommodations. Also, how quickly I can gather data and assess students #onetoonelearning
A2: I teach in a 1:1 environment where my Kindergarten students have access to laptops. It isn't difficult because when we are using our laptops all of my students are engaged. The difficult part is teaching them how to use the technology first. #OneToOneLearning
A3 Using 2.0 tools as a means of assessment, and using tech to foster collaboration. The later is something I notice my students like to do naturally. They want to see what others are doing and get ideas or possibly offer help. #OneToOneLearning
@FlaggStudent It's funny because some of my favorite classes growing up were basic computer skills classes (keyboarding, working with mavis beacon, learning what excel was, etc.) I feel like kids could get so much out of having a basic technology class in each grade level.
@IstcKathy How do you get customers to buy in? I can image that is a big challenge. I sometimes have that problem when I don't have student buy-in when it comes to using certain tech
