issue is Why are We made to pay the same amount for adulterated fuel ? While Ethanol manufaccturers and Govt making Money while Public is getting low quality fuel and suffering engine damage ?
They have kept their margin intact while making people settle for less & pay more
๐จ Most Citizens Aren't Against Ethanol Blending
They are Against Forceful Implementation
Issue is Not Giving an Option To Taxpayers
Make E0, E10 and E20 Available at Petrol Pumps
E20 Petrol Should Be Slightly Cheaper When Crude Price is Going Down and Has Blend of Ethanol
This mindset is the problem
countries like
Sri Lanka
Bhutan
Bangladesh
Nepal which import refined Petrol from India sell pure petrol at a lower price compared to India
Why are Indians being made to pay a heavy price...
I'm not against ethanol blending. If it helps reduce oil imports, that's a good long-term goal.
But the impact on mileage is real, at least in my experience. My car earlier used to run around 280 km on 20L of petrol. Over the last 2โ3 months, the same 20L is giving only about 230 km. That's 20% milage reduction.
Consumers should have the option to choose a lower ethanol blend, even if it costs a little more.
they are not interested in that
they just want to keep the import bill same but profit should go to @nitin_gadkari family/friends
@narendramodi facilitating this is biggest disappointment/ it just blew the lid from his made up honesty image
Gadkari has looted beyond imagination
If the Government just focused on Zero Potholes, Unbroken Footpaths & Better Traffic Management, we could have saved more than 95 Million Litres of E10 Fuel per day ๐ฅบ
But NO. Let's Upgrade the Fuel to E20 QUICKLY๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

oh genius
people don't print money to keep spending
they cut their travel
when supporters become blind cheer leaders the downfall of the leader is certain
Amazing statistics
Mileage of Ravish Kumar's car
Before E20: 14 km/L
After E20: 9.6 km/L
That is a whopping 32% drop...almost a third!
Since mileage has fallen by 32%, India's petrol demand should also grow massively to make up for it.
But June demand only grew 7% year on year. And keep in mind that economy grows, more cars are bought, so petrol demand always goes up each year
So how come petrol demand grew only 7% when mileage is down 32%?
Only explanation is that people have simply stopped driving. Dear drivers in Delhi and Bangalore, have you noticed this massive drop in traffic jams?
Okay, there is one more explanation. The laws of physics randomly happened to single out Ravish Kumar's car for this terrifying 32% drop in mileage.
That is one hell of a coincidence, don't you think?
No they're not same
Here they're selling adulterated fuel and charging the same amount and Tax While customer is suffering mileage loss and vehicle damage
this is day light robbery of the public for trusting @narendramodi
and We are not tolerating this non sense anymore
Ethanol debate reminds me of similar debate in late 90s and early 2000s when Indian auto space saw two transformational initiatives - CNG introduction (forced on then govt by SC directive) and lead free petrol and then debate then was also on similar lines.
Same way when GST was introduced, again we saw same debate.
Behavioural changes are difficult to accept but eventually everyone does and things settle.
Problem is that transition phases are a good breeding ground for propagandists to push their own propaganda.
I drive a petrol car and i have not come across any mileage or engine related issue. Besides, if there is some kit that needs to be installed, one should. Donโt we replace tyres or brake pads or maintenance related items regularly. One can take that kit same way.
If 20% blending is technically possible, then we citizens must not fall victim to all the propaganda around that. Instead, we shud let that happen by supporting the govt while ignoring all the noise of those trying to torpedo it by resorting to crazy theories and propaganda.
We live in tumultuous geopolitical times and Hormuz has shown once and for all: that India cannot remain hostage to oil related blackmail; hence m anything and everything that can reduce our dependence on oil must be done. There canโt be two doubts about that. Modi govt is on the right path.
Also it is in countryโs interest to reduce or limit dependence on fuel. Havenโt we seen how Cong was rejoicing when Hormuz crisis started and how its leaders were predicting doomsday scenarios hoping for one ? And now that Modi govt has managed that crisis so well and effectively, this new propaganda around ethanol is being pushed.
Behavioural changes work wonders in India and best ex of that are lying everywhere - from Aadhar integration with JAM trinity to Swachha Bharat to GST to digital payment to Digilocker and what not: Indian society has underdone so many transformative and transformational behavioural changes in past 12 yrs courtesy @narendramodi govt.
Let these changes happen as they are for the good of the countryโฆโฆ& for individuals as well!
dear @narendramodi
your Mantri @nitin_gadkari@nsitharaman@HardeepSPuri have nothing to lose they can't even win from their own seats forget about winning a majority for 3 terms making major policy decisions
The least they can do is keep the mouth shut while We seek ans from You
dear @narendramodi
Your Ministers
bureaucrats
Your Gujju/Marvari friends
Party Workers
have nothing to lose
but it's you who will end up being branded as another Man Mohan Singh for facilitating the loot
Always remember that
history won't be kind
@nitin_gadkari@HardeepSPuri
every car should get a free upgrade now and one year's petrol free
@narendramodi@nitin_gadkari@HardeepSPuri
When People had so much trust on you it was foolish to lose it for a greedy lot
those losers have nothing to lose but your legacy will be painted in mud..
Forced Ethanol 20 Implementation might be the One Rare Time when the Whole of India is sharing our Mann ki Baat with the PM @narendramodi ji !!!
Hope Government listens to the concerns & brings back E10 until older vehicles phase out.

Why are We risking the only crown jewel in our defence
The Geo Political reality could flip anytime
Why risk our Advanced Weapons landing up with an adversary and losing our edge
@narendramodi@rajnathsingh
Spare Brahmos for our own defence Please till something superior arrives
Indonesia has reached out to India seeking one more BrahMos missile battery from India, over and above the one signed up for in March. But Indonesia is asking for a favourable line of credit to procure it. https://t.co/mKjo5EisS7
dear @CMShehbaz@OfficialDGISPR@ForeignOfficePk Pakistan was created for Indian Muslims
Since majority stayed back so We will not release Indus water unless All the Indian Muslims are taken into Pakistan
We are not releasing the share of those Muslims in Indus Waters
It's not just the equipment but the soldiers behind those machines make all the difference
It is with these men Brits fought
WW 1 & 2
India should start selling security itself to friendly Nations
even Russia couldn't use S400 like us @narendramodi@adgpi@IAF_MCC@indiannavy
dear @narendramodi People had lot of trust on you to fix this corrupt and inept system but you betrayed your hard core supporters and proved that you too are part of that corrupt and incompetent eco system which you claimed to fight for the public
trust can be lost only once
The common man has not benefited from it instead that equal amount of Money is gone to the Ethanol manufacturers and the Govt and Public got adulterated fuel which cost them both mileage and engine damage @narendramodi@nitin_gadkari@HardeepSPuri
This is day light robbery
Ethanol has saved โน1.9L crores in forex (since 2014, I presume). The moment you see such big figures being bandied about, you should have two questions.
Is this figure actually a big deal or not? India is a very large economy. Obviously, there will be many economic figures which will be of a large absolute size.
How has this figure been calculated? Is this figure even right?
Turns out, on both fronts, the answer in this case is negative.
โน1.9T over 12 years is just 15K crores per year. That is $2bn per year and doesn't even cover 1% of the annual goods trade deficit.
And even that โน1.9T figure is a lie. Here is the math.
Between 2014 and 2025, India produced approximately 205.4 million barrels of ethanol for its blending program, which translates to an energy-equivalent value of 134.4 million barrels of petrol. Assuming an average oil price of $70 per barrel and an exchange rate of โน75 per USD, this domestic production successfully displaced $9.41 billion worth of imported fuel, yielding a national value of approximately โน70,560 crore.
For the 2025โ26 cycle (starting Nov 2025), India's contracted volume of 66.6 million barrels of ethanol translates to an energy-equivalent value of 43.6 million barrels of petrol. Assuming $75 crude oil price and a โน92 per USD exchange rate, this production successfully displaces $3.3 billion worth of imported fuel.
When Private operators can make so much profit why can't state owned service providers make similar profits in terms of giving more value to the public @narendramodi@AshwiniVaishnaw
As a Nation We should concentrate about national output not individual greed of select few
When Ethanol is not same as Petrol Why are We made to Pay on par with Petrol ?
and suffer both mileage loss and engine damage !!!
Basically @narendramodi making us pay more for substandard fuel and also suffer losses
so that @nitin_gadkari family can become filthy rich !!!
Why were OMCs not raising the prices when US Iran war broke out ?
Were they also waiting for 5 State elections to get over ?
@narendramodi@HardeepSPuri@nsitharaman
If you think the Public is moron
Then you will learn the truth hard way
Remeber nobody is invincible
Dear @LGIndia
I am using LG Washing Machine and it's cabinet is rusted
I just wanted to know if the Model spares are still available or not Why do I need to book an appointment and Pay your engineer for inspection/visiting charges for a problem the customer already knows ?
Is this how Banks are empowered by the Govt/regulator Where even for their mistakes Customer is made to run around ?
What's the remedy for such behaviour by the Bank
Are customers at the mercy of Banks despite paying their hefty service charges ?
Kindly Help
@PiyushGoyalOffc
