Is this even a story worth writing? I’m all in favour for keeping costs reasonable where we can but drawing silly attention to the process of economic development and its costs is not worthy. We need to do more not less.
New from me: Edmonton city council spent thousands of dollars going to Calgary Stampede in recent years, raising questions about the value to the public as costs for the trips increase.
