If Republicans win the House by a handful of seats, the right-wing Supreme Court will have ushered them to victory.
How?
The GOP picked up seats in gerrymandered districts that only exist because SCOTUS suspended the ban on racial gerrymandering in the Voting Rights Act.
Thank you to everyone who worked on and supported our campaign in any fashion! Can't say enough about my campaign team and all those who pitched in to help. We did our best and should be proud!
What I believe:
✅ Our Democracy is precious.
✅ Voting matters and no election was stolen.
✅ Women must be able to decide if and when to be pregnant.
✅ Public education is the key to success.
✅ We should love and marry who we want.
✅ People who bully children are bad.

I keep waiting to lose sleep over Election Day approaching, but it’s not happening. Had a great night’s sleep last night.
I am so proud of the campaign we ran and I feel incredibly hopeful for the future. 🇺🇸
@vickiringer@maddow I made my decision to run while touring Dachau in December of 2019. Ran in 2020 and got enough of the vote to tell me there were others in this district who value Democracy. Compelled to come back and do it again in 2022. We have to stand up and defend our freedoms & rights!
@Nash4SC124 is giving a masterclass on Democracy and the freedom to read at the @BeaufortSchools Board of Ed meeting now in response to the egregious #BookBan that took place last week. 🔥
Congratulations, SC! We made the national news for stupid stuff - again. This time because we have a governor who would ban same sex marriage, supported by 70% of our population, and abortion, supported by 75% of residents. So who does Henry McMaster represent?
@robreiner @Nash4SC124 If moderates of all types don’t take this opportunity to protect democracy and vote it will be too late to worry about supreme court cases, women’s rights, racism, climate change, accurate historical education of our children….
I'm deeply concerned about the health of our democracy, defaulting to a one party system, gerrymandering, barriers to voting, the chipping away of our freedoms, the erosion of the principle of the separation of church and state, and the politicization of our justice system. VOTE
Republicans have controlled the state Senate, House and Governor's Office in South Carolina for more than 20 years. What has that gotten us?
❌48th best states for women
❌6th highest murder rate
❌49th best state to raise a family
❌44th best education system

Barb Nash is running against Shannon Erickson in HD 124 in Beaufort. Shannon voted to ban abortion and to make birth control more difficult to get because "women are lazy." Barb is a health care provider who will protect our reproductive health decisions. Vote for @Nash4SC124!
If Republicans become the majority in the US Congress, GOP leader Kevin McCarthy says they will cut Social Security and Medicare, extend tax cuts to the richest 1% of Americans, and pass a national abortion ban. We must elect Democrats to protect our rights and livelihoods.
The Republican nominee for education superintendent Ellen Weaver won’t have a master’s degree as required by SC law at the time of the Nov. 8 election. She is unqualified to lead our schools if she lacks the basic education that our teachers and principals are expected to have.
