Few people know that #Kosovo’s so-called ‘Prime Minister’ @albinkurti supports the ‘UÇK’, a terrorist group designated as such by the US @StateDept, with links to drugs, weapons & human organ trafficking. A mini-ISIS in the Balkans. Yet much of the West supports Kurti. Why?

In 1998, the ‘UÇK’ intensified attacks on civillians & security forces as well as Serbian Orthodox monasteries & churches in #Serbia’s southern province of Kosovo. The ‘UÇK’ was comprised of #Albanian extremist militants who kidnapped & killed countless #Serbs, #Roma & even #Albanians they considered disloyal. Any country’s army would react harshly to #terrorism, as did Serbia’s.

But Serbia was being constantly pushed by the West to stop their counter-terrorist offensive. And in 1999, @NATO bombed Serbia to stop them & occupy Kosovo, with the US building Camp Bondsteel, their largest military base in Europe outside Germany. A young Kurti was arrested in 1999 and sentenced in 2000 for his terrorism to 15 years of jail.

As the government in Serbia changed to a pro-Western one, Kurti was released. Today, he can freely pose in front of the ‘UÇK’ flag in Western-occupied Kosovo even though the ‘UÇK’ is officially banned. Terrorism is considered terrorism only if the West is against it.
