PUBLIC NOTICE: Update on September 2025 Allowance Payment

The National Service Authority (NSA) acknowledges the concerns of National Service Personnel regarding the delay in payment of their September 2025 allowances.

We assure all personnel that the Directorate of Finance and Administration has completed all necessary submissions, which are currently with the Office of the Accountant-General for final approval and release of funds.

The Authority remains committed to ensuring timely disbursement and appreciates your patience and continued service to the nation.

ONBOARDING OF USER AGENCIES ON THE NSA REQUEST PORTAL

The National Service Authority wishes to inform all eligible user agencies that the official User Agency Request Portal is now active. Eligible User Agencies are required to onboard and submit their personnel requests directly to the NSA through the following link:

Through this portal, institutions can:

1.Create an account to access the platform.
2.Submit open requests for Service Personnel who meet specified criteria.
3.Request specific individuals by providing their NSS Numbers.

This new system ensures transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the deployment of National Service Personnel across the country. It also allows institutions to track the status of their requests in real time.

All user agencies are encouraged to complete their onboarding and submission processes promptly to facilitate timely placements.

This week, we celebrate 24-year-old Rebecca Boateng Ameyaw, a shining example of how the HAPPY Program, an initiative of the Mastercard Foundation, is transforming lives through inclusive and sustainable agriculture.

Rebecca is not just cultivating tomatoes, she’s cultivating hope, growth, and lasting change.

Through the support of the HAPPY Program, she has gained access to hands-on agricultural training, mentorship, and the tools needed to build a sustainable livelihood. Each seed she plants tells a story of resilience, empowerment, and possibility, a story made possible by a vision to equip young people, especially women and persons with disabilities, with the skills and confidence to thrive.

Rebecca’s journey reflects the broader impact of the HAPPY Program’s pathways for dignified work promoting inclusive development and nurturing a new generation of Agripreneurs who are redefining the future of food security in Ghana.

Rebecca reminds us that the seeds of empowerment sown today will bloom into a future of prosperity and resilience for all.

The Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) Program is a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and Agri-Impact Limited, implemented by a consortium of eight partners, including the National Service Authority.

The HAPPY Program seeks to create dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for youth aged 15–35, especially women and persons with disabilities, in the tomato, rice, soya, and poultry value chains.

The National Service Authority (NSA) organized a comprehensive capacity-building exercise for all Regional Directors as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional leadership and improve operational efficiency. The training aimed at enhancing the leadership competencies of the Regional Directors while equipping them with the requisite knowledge and hands-on experience to effectively navigate and utilize the Authority’s newly introduced digital operating system.

The program formed part of NSA’s broader agenda to promote innovation, accountability, and service excellence across all its regional offices. It also provided a platform for directors to engage with management on new policy directions, digital transformation processes, and strategies for improving service delivery to both personnel and stakeholders nationwide.

In attendance were the Board Chairman, Hon. Okai Mintah, the Director-General, Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, the Deputy Director-General in charge of Finance and Administration, Hon. Fuseini Donkor, and the Deputy Director-General in charge of Programmes and Operations, Major Moses Kpeungu. Their collective presence underscored management’s unwavering commitment to capacity development, institutional reform, and the seamless integration of technology in the Authority’s operations.

The leadership of the NSA reaffirmed its dedication to building a digitally driven institution anchored on efficiency, transparency, and continuous learning reflecting its broader vision of transforming national service into a catalyst for national development and youth empowerment.
