Religious extremists of all faiths who peddle hatred have a lot to answer for. Calling them out is always necessary.
So with war going on that many are still confused about - and the Islamic regime in Iran funding terrorist proxies like the Houthis in Yemen - feels right to amplify Yemeni journalist Luai Ahmed who says:
“antisemitism… has convinced my people that it’s more important to fire missiles to kill Jews than to feed starving Yemeni children.”
He then drops the bombshell radical Islamists do not want you to hear.
Watch.
For years, Western officials called Ali Larijani a “pragmatist” and a “diplomat.”
In reality, he helped oversee one of the Islamic Republic’s most notorious propaganda operations — built on fear, coercion, and forced confessions.
In 1996, state TV aired Hoveyat (“Identity”) — an Orwellian smear campaign targeting Iran’s leading writers, historians, and intellectuals.
Week after week, they were branded traitors, Western agents, and enemies of the state.
Larijani was head of state broadcasting at the time.
This wasn’t incidental.
He defended the program publicly — accusing its targets of taking money from foreign embassies and justifying the campaign against them.
The show relied on forced confessions.
Ezzatollah Sahabi.
Gholamhossein Mirza Saleh.
Even Ali-Akbar Saeedi Sirjani — who died in custody — was made to “confess” on air after his death.
Behind Hoveyat was a coordinated system: state TV, intelligence services, and hardline media working together to crush dissent.
This is Larijani’s record.
Not a reformer. Not a centrist.
A key operator in the machinery of repression.

Dear Elon,
In these critical days, the people of Iran need internet access. Please help them stay connected as they struggle to reclaim their country from the rule of the mullahs. Stand with the Iranian people. Iran will not forget its friends.
Emory University has removed Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of senior regime official Ali Larijani, from its faculty.
As officials like him are ordering a massacre of thousands of freedom-seeking Iranians, there is no place for their affiliates in our universities.
Iranians in Stockholm, Sweden, installed a 300-kg ( 661 lb) metal plate engraved with “Free Iran.”
It is placed right under the sign of the Iranian embassy, and it is so heavy it cannot be removed.
I have never been more proud to be Iranian. From every corner of the world, people are doing whatever they can to stand up to this evil regime and save Iran.
I am under massive attack by so-called Western “geopolitical analysts” who say nothing about Khamenei and the IRGC massacring at least 20,000 innocent, unarmed Iranians , yet feel entitled to lecture me about my country and family inside Iran.
You have lying, because of the Islamic regime, people like me are not safe in New york city anymore. Our family inside owner are not safe too.
To punish me, the regime imprisoned my brother. They stormed my mother’s home.
They dragged my family onto state television to publicly disown me. They have sent killers after me in New York three times.
This is the regime you excuse.
This is the regime you sanitize.
This is the regime you call “complex” while enjoying your freedom in the West.
I dare you, come to federal court this Wednesday, January 28.
Look at my would-be assassin who was arrested in front of a university where I was scheduled to give a talk to kill me , with your own eyes. Then lecture me.
While you pontificate from safety, IRGC killers are storming hospitals in Iran, hunting the wounded, finishing off my injured brothers and sisters.
Let me be clear:
If you do not remove the terrorists, they will remove your family . the way they are trying to remove mine.
Stop lecturing the victims.
Name the killers if you dare, if you don’t stop bullying us.
“I support the Iranian people—I just want them to achieve democracy on their own.”
That’s like witnessing a brutal assault, refusing to call the police, and claiming solidarity.
Some invoke international law in other contexts—yet deny Iranians the same.

Protests in Iran have continued to rage more than 40 days after the death of Mahsa 'Jina' Amini. I talked to a number of experts to break down what protesters are actually calling for: https://t.co/UrSZOClb9t
