HAPPENING NOW 🚨

MASS WALKOUT as most delegations ABANDON the UN General Assembly while NETANYAHU begins his speech.

30 years ago Spitting Image dared to broadcast the truth about Israel.

Now no one dares.

[Mark Ruffalo @MarkRuffalo]

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.

This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

@Nike @NellyKorda 3/1. Baring in mind I never asked for a refund!! Every time I call, the advisors are also robotic!! @Nike SORT THIS IS OUT OR I AM TAKING THIS TO TRADING STANDARDS!! A company of your stature SHOULD BE PROFESSIONAL!! Disgusting customer service!!!

[Naz @nasrinzahir]

@Nike @NellyKorda 1/1. Never buying from this shit company again!! Ordered a Nike tech fleece in size small and when I sent it back for an exchange for a Medium, they tell me the ‘items received are not Nike items’!!!

[Naz @nasrinzahir]

@Nike @NellyKorda 2/1. I asked them to contact the courier service NIKE PROVIDED which is @InPostPL to find out what has happened with the items and instead @Nike come back to me as an automated system saying the items are not theirs so they will not refund!!

This scene from South park never gets old

[The Best @TheBestqueenx]

Disney's old animation, where everything looked like a painting, is some of the best the industry has ever produced. It's a shame they abandoned that style.

That time Morgan Freeman left Mike Wallace speechless on 60 Minutes while calling Black History Month ridiculous.

"I hope and pray to leave this world too someday and to have a place near God as near as any other soul with the exception of John Candy."

Catherine O'Hara's eulogy for John Candy just hits harder today.

After Rob Reiner screened Stand by Me (1986) for Stephen King, he noticed that King was visibly shaking and wasn’t speaking.

Stephen King left the room, then returned and told Rob Reiner it was the best adaptation of his work he had ever seen. RIP Rob Reiner.

@Paul_Patriot12 @GaryLineker The fact that I lived on the same road as you still makes my skin crawl 🤮🤮🤮

[Mike Tyson @MikeTyson]

This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time.

I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.

To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you 🙏
