@MaalimAbdisalam Exact same thing happened to me, till my dad intervened and said he worked for the military, we still had to be vetted before getting an id
Be a wealthy Muslim. Retire your parents. Fund someone’s Umrah trip. Build Masajid. Sponsor orphans. Fund Dawah. Wealth isn’t evil. Wealth is what will move the ummah forward.
The scholar explained that Allah speaks back through three primary channels:
1. The Qur’an: The literal Word.
2. Al-Qadr: The shifting of your circumstances.
3. As-Sakinah: The sudden, unexplainable peace in your heart.
I realized I was so busy telling Allah what I wanted that I wasn't listening to what He was offering.
Twenty years ago we invaded Iraq. The war killed many innocent Iraqis and Americans. It destroyed the oldest Christian populations in the world. It cost over $1 trillion, and turned Iraq into a satellite of Iran. It was an unforced disaster, and I pray that we learn its lessons.
Apartheid Israel was created in 1947, South Africa’s apartheid regime came into power in 1948. Zionists and Afrikaners are Siamese Twins. They both enjoy the direct backing of White Supremacists in Washington. It wasn’t by coincidence. The pattern is repeating itself
Kenyans have a right to say they don’t want Israelis owning land in this country. They also have a right to stand with the people of Palestine. That’s their choice.
What I find absurd is people trying to acquire large tracts of land here and then saying it’s so Israeli teenagers can “integrate” with Kenyan teenagers. Integrate how exactly? What are you really saying? Who told you there’s a shortage in how our children are integrating?
The truth is, you can invest in your own country. Let’s be honest about why you’re here. Many of these deals only happen because you’re in bed with people in government willing to sell access to our land and resources at throwaway prices.
You benefit from our soil and our cheap labour. And history has shown us that once interests are secured, you won’t hesitate to distance yourselves from ordinary Kenyans. That’s the real concern people are raising.
Also, go to hell with your religion manipulative tactics🚶🏾♀️
The North didn’t “fail to develop” while Mt Kenya heroically built itself. It was underdeveloped by policy design – from Sessional Paper No. 10 to skewed budgets that favoured “high potential” regions and starved arid counties of roads, schools and hospitals. Blaming Northern leaders alone while defending more billions for already developed areas is dishonest ethnic populism. Facts are stubborn: historical marginalisation is real, and using lazy stereotypes to lock poor kids out of national schools is not protection, it’s greed in a suit.
“The irresistible force paradox” is a classic paradox formulated as "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? The unstoppable force is the youth and the immovable force is Ruto. Both cannot exist together #rejectingthefinancebill2024
Uganda President Museveni to Putin:
"One facet of neo-colonialism and colonialism was Africa being confined to producing only raw materials, crops, like coffee, and minerals. I can give you an example: the global business for coffee is worth $460 billion. That is the value of the coffee business in the world. But of those $460 billion the coffee producing countries of the whole world share only $25 billion and Africa shares only $2.4 billion out of $460 billion.
This issue is the biggest stunting factor why the African economies are stunted; they do not grow, because all the value is taken by other people. Germany earns more from coffee than the whole of Africa. Germany earns $6.85 billion from coffee, while Africa earns only $2.4 – 2.5 billion. This is the big scandal.
So, what I want to propose to Russia and China is to discourage as a policy the importing of raw materials from Africa, to instead work with the Africans to add value at source. This would within a very short time transform the economies of Africa from low- and mid-income to high- and middle-high income because we see from the example of Uganda that everything is depressed now; production is high but we are still producing raw materials."
The @uonbi and @kmpdu have successfully reached a mutually beneficial agreement on Master of Medicine (MMed) school fees. This agreement signifies a positive outcome after extensive negotiations and serves as a significant achievement for both parties involved. Here is a summary
