A 5x perp and a 5x leveraged token may start with similar exposure but the way they manage that exposure can lead to very different outcomes.

With a perp, your effective leverage changes as the position moves. When unrealized profit increases the position naturally becomes less leveraged.

@BounceTech takes a different approach. Its leveraged tokens are backed by Hyperliquid perps and are periodically rebalanced toward a target leverage giving traders more consistent exposure without actively managing margin.

One January comparison showed the potential difference:

5x HYPE token: +4,048%
5x HYPE perp: +807%

Of course, this isn't a guarantee of performance. Rebalancing can also hurt returns in choppy or reversing markets.

What makes Bounce interesting to me is the structure: leveraged perp exposure packaged into a transferable ERC-20 asset on HyperEVM.
