@KhanSaba1278 Just place a metal mesh with the appropriate fold over it to reduce move or insects crawling in. Otherwise that vent is necessary for ventilation and reducing moisture build up

@Drx_Nilesh7 There needs to be modifications in engines for the ignition timing, gaskets need to be of different material, fuel supply lines are made of different material and the fuels itself needs additives to reduce its corrosive and water absorption properties. Not for older engines.

@NSingh_1 @ShikshaNewsRaj1 The engine & hardware like, fuel lines, engine gaskets & ignition timing have to be changed. More over adjuvants that protect from ethanol that absorbs water & is corrosive need to be blended in. Pre 2022 vehicles I believe cannot handle more than 5 - 10% ethanol. Dumb move

Fundamentally it has to do with whether the car or motorcycle or any vehicle has an engine and an engine management system and the hardware geared for ethanol based petrol. I would think the older vehicles at least before 2022 were not. So pushing a blanket ban on standard petrol and petrol not allowing higher ethanol based petrol will damage the older vehicles. Not just the engine, but also the fuel lines, gaskets and more

@magadh_updates It is probably a diesel and the jerk is just roadside cleaning of exhaust filter. Just open up the O2 sensor port and add exhaust cleaning fluid. This should be done in a place where the crap is safely collected.
