When your players are on death saves have the Grim Reaper show up and deadpan some dad jokes to ease the tension and lighten the mood. Have him theatrically checking his watch and sighing if it starts to drag on.

I'm currently discovering that a good night's sleep makes a difference of about 3-4k words a day in terms of productivity.

Never would have predicted that the biggest writing aid I'd get in my life was a decent mattress, but I 10/10 recommend it if you can. 😍
