@alison_mrice My starting salary was $45k after 1st class honours (10 years ago!). GFC and Campbell Newman restructure/layoff era. Job searching for ~6m with no success. Pretty desperate for anything in my field. Didn't know better, didn't know to negotiate. Definitely discuss with boss/HR!

Iridocorneal Endothelial Syndrome (#ICEsyndrome) is a #raredisease of the cornea, progressing from glare and halo vision, to drastic iris changes and secondary glaucoma - ultimately causing blindness. Some aspects of it can be managed, but not yet cured. We want to change that!
