Consortium members at @QUT have launched a national surveillance study to establish how many Australians live with ICE + collect key details of medical history for analysis. Please DM us if you are a patient or eye care professional & would like to participate in the study.
Iridocorneal Endothelial Syndrome (#ICEsyndrome) is a #raredisease of the cornea, progressing from glare and halo vision, to drastic iris changes and secondary glaucoma - ultimately causing blindness. Some aspects of it can be managed, but not yet cured. We want to change that!
Kicking off the Global Chain of Lights...it's New Zealand and the East Coast of Australia!
