I didn't say he had to bust his ass, although he works damn hard to provide for his family. I said, he had to prove he would be a productive member of society and not get government assistance. That's not that hard. If you want to make a life for yourself, do you think you can just move to another country and live off the government? You know what was hard? Being separated from my husband for 6 months while getting the Visa sorted out because he couldn't stay here the whole time our paperwork was being submitted and finalized. But, we followed the rules and did everything we were supposed to do. We never had to live in fear of him being deported and now he is living the American dream because he did things the right way and made something for himself and his family. So it's not busting your ass to do things the right way. No, it's not always easy but nothing worth fighting for is. People don't get to just say "This is too hard, I'll just break the law." And not have consequences for that.
I honestly thought this was already the case. My husband is an immigrant who is now an American Citizen, and when he applied for his Green Card, he had to prove he was financially able to support himself, and was not allowed to receive any government benefits. My parents had to sponsor him and sign papers stating that if my husband did in fact receive government assistance of any kind, they would be responsible for paying it back. He now has a great job, we've built a family and he contributes to society, as it should be. These are just common sense laws that most countries have in place. Why do certain people get so upset by this? Our government programs are overwhelmed as it is, helping American Citizens. Why on Earth would we want people moving here just to drain resources? Living the American Dream means contributing and doing your part to make this country thrive.
I lived in Australia for a year on a Work/Holiday Visa (actually where I met my Irish husband) and I had to show my bank account statements that would show how much money I had before I was eligible. I don't understand why people make this out to be a complex issue. It's really not, and most other countries have the same rules.
I homeschool my children and they are perfectly fine and a lot more social than most kids. They are also very bright and do well in most subjects. Of course everyone has subjects they struggle with and homeschool kids are no exception. My kids aren't perfect but they're well rounded and respectful for the most part. I'm definitely not taking parenting advice from this hateful witch. She's actually the perfect example of why parents should homeschool if they're able.
I'm no fan of the guy, but come on. He's at Disney. I've seen many grown adults without children, carrying around bubble wands. This is just a silly post. Plus, even if he was gay ( don't know, don't care), what does that have to do with anything? Like it's weird because he's gay, whereas if he were straight, you'd think it was normal? I follow you and always go to your page first for info on breaking news, so no hate towards you, but this post just isn't necessary, in my opinion.
@CollinRugg Don't get me wrong, I used to love Jackass and Wild Boyz, but this is the guy who literally drank someone's sweaty fart juice, swallowed a goldfish alive, put fireworks in his butt and put leaches on his eyeballs among other things. I think I'll trust my own instincts here.
Oh my gosh! An 80 year old man has eczema. Whatever will we do? Y'all sound ridiculous. You are grasping at straws because you know the President is doing an amazing job and it kills you. Therefore you have to find something stupid like this to try to make yourself feel better. It's sad.
@mattvanswol Our favorite place out is Idaho. So many hot springs to soak in and beautiful places to see. Glad you and your family get to have this experience.
@RepLaMonica You are not God. Why on Earth would any of us act as if we had an answer to this ridiculous question. It's the Lord's job to judge. You do not get to ask this kind of question and expect to be taken seriously. This was absolutely disgusting and hateful.
What about the blood of innocents, spilled by illegals? People who were just minding their business and not inserting themselves into dangerous situations? What about them?! None of you had mass protests to get these dangerous illegals out of our country when innocent Americans died? Why not? Wouldn't it be better to let ICE do their job so they're not going into hostile situations that could escalate? Wouldn't it be beneficial to the people of Minnesota if the governor and mayors worked with ICE to hand over dangerous illegal criminals so there isn't so much chaos? I just don't understand the thinking here. It seems your side wants to make things chaotic and unruly when it really doesn't need to be.
@tarenceray They entered in 2024 and were separated then. The parents went to separate detention centers and the child went into government custody. This happened under Biden, not Trump. I hope that the child is safe somewhere. Biden lost track of many children as president.
@JasmineForUS Are you fucking kidding me? We wanted RFK because he's a champion for the health of our children. I don't care if he's black, white, brown, or purple for that matter. Stop trying to make everything about race.
