Maybe this sounds harsh to some but honestly I don’t care. There are children with allergies/sensitivities to foods, children going dye free, etc. also… it’s disgusting.
@rivia0929 Right!? I really don’t even think I would have thought twice about Halloween but having a baby makes you check into everything and want to to do what you feel is absolutely best for them.
I don’t want to celebrate Halloween anymore and have Tate go trick or treating but I’m realize how much we do that goes into celebrating Halloween and it’s gonna be so hard to cut it all out at once. I still want to see Tate dressed up in cute baby costumes🥲
Also I get everyone saying it’s innocent, they’re kids bc I mean same but also I feel like that’s just me looking for an excuse to join in. God has called us to be separated from the world. To be set apart. Not to be conformed. The roots of trick or treating are not so innocent.
Especially little things like pumpkin carving like I still want to paint pumpkins with him and dress him up and I just bought him his little trick or treat bucket that lights up and has his name on it lol
I want to make Travis and Tate my profile picture because they are so cute and I love them so much but that’s weird so I’m just going to post them everywhere instead🤣❤️
I sometimes forget how badly I need Jesus in my everyday life. I have went two days without being in his word or in good prayer and I am completely broken, hanging on by a thread, pulling my hair out, losing my mind, in tears. Will be staying up tonight to read my bible🥲🫶
My toxic trait is thinking I could save me and my baby from a lion attack and escape without a scratch and not only that but also having the anxiety to think that it could actually happen to us while walking in the town of Chapmanville🤪
Romans 8:38-39 ^
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
So thankful for Gods love and grace🫶
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
