@RachelMFleming My Dad hated the phone—called me exactly once, and it was in the middle of the work day. I saw his number on my cell and was immediately like oh crap, life is about to go OFF THE RAILS. Turned out he wanted to know where Mom kept something. And I didn’t even know!

@pattonoswalt Schools, libraries, etc can host events with permission using their framework. I was recently involved with putting on an event for students in the health sciences. They had a lot of eye-opening conversations that will help them be better health care providers down the road!

@IAGovernor It’s not remotely about being fair. It’s about sucking up to the far right wing and seeing whether you can outdo another GOP governor in the Race to the Bottom Olympics. The least you could do is own your bigotry and not try to hide behind a fake-sincere “fairness” excuse.

@TeamUfYH Vacuuming! My old vaccuum has been dying a slow death, and the dog hair is getting ridiculous. I got so anxious about picking between the options for replacement I was paralyzed by indecision. Finally ordered one online and will be picking it up tomorrow!
