‼️🇺🇸USS Gerald R. Ford is the largest and most expensive aircraft carrier ever built.

It is powered by two nuclear reactors, which means it can operate for more than 20 years without refueling and has virtually unlimited range. This allows it to stay deployed anywhere in the world for long periods without depending on fuel supply lines.

The carrier can support over 75 aircraft, including fighter jets, electronic warfare aircraft, early warning planes, and helicopters. It uses a modern Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System that launches aircraft faster and with less stress on the airframes compared to older steam catapults. It also has advanced radar systems and improved weapons elevators to increase sortie generation during combat.

In war, it acts as a floating airbase. It can project air power deep inland without relying on foreign bases, conduct air superiority missions, strike enemy targets, support ground forces, enforce no fly zones, and provide maritime security.

Its air wing and escort ships together form a carrier strike group, giving the United States the ability to respond quickly to crises anywhere across the globe.

It is not just a ship. It is a mobile military platform designed to dominate air and sea space during high intensity conflict.

Congrats, @jadeacarey, on taking home the gold! Arizona is proud of you! 🏅

Arizona does not allow mask mandates, vaccine mandates, vaccine passports or discrimination in schools based on who is or isn’t vaccinated. We’ve passed all of this into law, and it will not change.
