To the Australian people, young and old.
I have lived through many of these extraordinary moments in this country.
The Voice is now our moment.
Vote Yes.

"When the CEOs of these huge companies whose price hikes have actually caused the inflation we're dealing with begrudge a wage increase for the poorest people in our labour force, frankly, I think it's immoral."

ASU members and Homelessness Australia have been campaigning to save homelessness services.
Today, we won $67.5 million.
Without this funding, services would have closed.
Congratulations to everyone who took action to Save Homelessness Services.
@nataliemlang getting an #ednas2022 for her work supporting women in the workforce. She campaigned tirelessly in getting 10 days paid domestic violence leave. 💪
Earlier today I spoke on the Second Reading Bill for Paid Domestic Violence Leave.
@nataliemlang, former Sect. of @ASUnion spoke powerfully during an inquiry to the difference it will make in people's lives.
It was the advocacy of the union movement made this change possible.
Breaking: 10 days paid domestic violence leave passes the senate unanimously.
Congratulations to all union members who achieved this.
This will save lives.

We are so close…. 10 days paid family and domestic violence leave has just past the Senate. Back to the House of Reps in the morning and then it’s law!
These DV support workers & @ASUnion members have been campaigning for paid family & domestic violence leave for years. We just legislated it. Pretty chuffed it’s the first bill I’ve handled as a Minister, representing @tony_burke. Australia - your new gov is getting things done.
The @ASUnion have been instrumental in pushing for domestic violence leave.
It's not just about support for those enduring trauma - it's about changing society's views on domestic violence.
Perpetrators can be put on notice: you will not be accepted in an Australian workplace.
ASU Branch Secretary @nataliemlang powerfully put the case for universal access to 10 days paid domestic violence leave at a Senate Committee yesterday.
All workers - including casuals and part time workers - must have access to this life saving leave.

Special mention to Secretary Natalie Lang, who led the We Won’t Wait workers’ campaign, and that’s been good for a decade. Delegates were fired up, knew their stuff and I learned a lot. Great to see you all and hope I see you again soon.
